Diwali is the “festival of lights” and is one of the most celebrated festivals of India and people celebrate with great happiness and joy. On this auspicious occasion, people send warm wishes, exchange gifts and sweets with their loved ones and pray for happiness.

We celebrated this at both our Lanfranco furniture and Oscar Furniture factories.

We celebrated Diwali with some traditional samosas and other Indian sweets such as Barfi, Ladoo & Gulab Jamun.

Overall it was a great day and it turned out fabulously, everyone seemed to have enjoyed themselves and was lovely bringing everyone together. We created posters to inform employees what the festival was about and we encouraged all to wear vibrant colours to get into the spirit, we believe it was a success.
